In December 2006 Ricoh UK achieved a 5 star for Excellence scoring between 500 and 550 points, some 15 months ahead of target.
Ricoh had been using assessment against the Excellence model since 2000, which reached 359 points in their late 2004 self-assessment. After benchmarking with the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) members they set the target of a growing score of 50 points each year.
In November 2006 Ricoh UK became an Ambassador for London Excellence.
