Print Audit
An undetectable and large amount of money is spent on local and networked printing. If you could clearly identify the cost of printing, you must identify where the time and money is lost. FCBS can help you by using our Print Audit solution to identify your true printing costs and save you money on your day-to-day printing requirements.
The Print Audit will identify where equipment is and which members of staff use it.
The Print Audit runs from a supplied USB device and will scan networked PC’s to record and monitor what is printed, when it is printed, where it is printed and how often it is printed.
Results of the Print Audit are saved to a CSV file format for compatibility with standard software packages and so a number of reports can be included, allowing results to be left with a customer in an easy to read format.
On completion of the Print Audit you will become aware of which devices are the most cost effective to print to and which devices are the most expensive. You can then reduce costs by restricting colour usage and limit the amount of prints allowed for certain users. Paper usage monitoring will reduce the abuse and waste of paper and will decrease the amount of wasted paper left by the printer at the end of the day. You can also reduce costs by redirecting expensive print jobs to the most efficient printing device.
